Maggie’s Cancer Centres

Pro-bono support for an incredible team

Following the passing of a close relative, I wanted to continue her great work supporting Maggie’s.  Rather than try to fundraise as she did (not my skill), I instead committed to offer Maggie’s as much training time as I could, and so began a story of crime, punishment, learning and development!

I’ve been proud and humbled to deliver a wide range of courses for the wonderful Maggie’s team, including Presentation Skills, and Resilience Communication Skills.

However, most recently, they had me arrested for crimes against training!  Luckily, I made my bail of over £2,000 – money which of course was donated in exchange for my freedom!

The engagement and willingness to dive into the engaging, challenging workshops I’ve designed for the Maggie’s team has been amazing to observe, but what matters most is the knowledge that I am, in a small way, supporting them to be even more amazing at what they do, thereby enabling them to support so many people.
